Once again Prakash Jha has proved that he is not only a good producer & director rather he is having a clear vision towards politics and diplomacy. His recent release " Rajneeti" has caused policemen to charge lathi's (Bihar) on the viewers waiting to buy the tickets from the ticket counters. Rajneeti a drama is based on the political diplomatic issues of India and several states.

This movie revolves around the family conflict of Rashtravadi Party. Two Suceessors of Rashtravadi Party, Bhanu Pratap and Chandra Pratap have their own son's (Virendra Pratap and Prithvi Pratap respectively)assuming themseleves the next Chief Minister of the state. Suraj ( Ajay Devgan) joins Virendra Pratap and conflict start between the twos (Virendra Pratap & Prithvi Pratap). Meanwhile Prithvi Pratap ( Arjun Rampal) dies and his younger brother Samar Pratap(Ranveer Kapoor) takes the charge.

Finally the Rashtravadi party divides into two parties Janshakti Party and Rashtravadi Party. Lastly the Janshali Party's nominated Indu Prithvi Pratap (wife of Prithvi Pratap) becomes the Chief Minister of the state.
